The Largest Sand Dune In South America.
Cerro Blanco is a huge dune of Peru located in the Nazca Valley in the department of Ica, about 20 kilometers from the city of Nazca. The base of the dune is at 1300 meters and its summit reaches 2080 meters, giving a useful height of descent on sand of 780 m.
It is an ideal place for the practice of extreme sandboarding, to reach the point of descent you should make a walk of approximately 3 hours. The descents are quite steep, only for the most experienced in sandboarding.
