In the same way you can perform various adventurous activities such as mountain biking in its surroundings or stand-up paddling. The weather is frigid, so it is recommended to always wear warm clothes (cap, scarf or scarf, gloves, jacket)

The Hike to the Humantay Lagoon has a Medium Difficulty, the terrain is hard and with small stones and is a steady and rugged climb, depending on the season, the temperature may drop as you approach the Salkantay snowy. Considering the difficulty of the walk, it is always necessary to have trekking poles. To make this walk to the Humantay Lagoon, it is recommended to have at least a couple of days of acclimatization in high-altitude cities (more than 3000 meters above sea level), in this case in the imperial city of Cusco, this so that during the tour you do not have problems with altitude sickness and can make the walk without major problems, it is recommended to take infusions of “muña” and “the sacred coca leaf”. Drink plenty of fluids, avoid fruits such as apples and beans, the first few days rest as much as possible and keep your body warm.
