Morning City Tour – Cusco

10:00 a.m.

Pick up from your accommodation depending on the proximity to the historic
center of the city.

The first stop

The first place to visit will be Qoricancha. We will go outside the city towards Sacsayhuaman where
we can see huge blocks of stone of up to 40 tons perfectly placed on top of each other. Our guide will explain to us the importance of this place from
before the arrival of the Spaniards and during the colony since this place witnessed one of the greatest battles between the Incas and Spaniards.

The second stop

We will continue to the sector of Qenq´o (labyrinth) that bears this name along its paths that give the
impression of being inside a labyrinth here the most important place will be an ancient ceremonial table that owes its importance to that this place was probably the last lodging or resting
place of Pachacuteq.

The third stop

We will continue on our tourist bus to Puca Pucara (red fortress) which was an important control center for people who wanted to enter the city
of Cusco in Inca times, given the importance of the city that was sacred all travelers had to first purify of body and soul which they could do in Tambomachay and last place we will visit where you can still appreciate the skill and knowledge in hydraulic engineering achieved by the Incas.
