Tour Acueducts
These types of aqueducts are attributed to the Nazca culture (Early Intermediate, 200 A.D.-700 A.D.). Of the 56 aqueducts found, 32 are currently in operation. They were made with slab stones and logs from Huarango to capture groundwater. The “puquios”, ventilation wells that descend to the spiral subsoil and that allow to obtain better quality water, attract attention. Cantalloc Geographers are other cultural manifestations of the ancient Nazca society.
